The artist's hand, the clinician's mind.
Maren Holloway founded Permanent Atelier after a decade in medical aesthetics and fine-art training in Florence. She believed permanent makeup deserved a studio — not a treatment room, not a salon — a place where pigment is mixed like watercolor and every line is composed.
Today, her small team serves a loyal clientele who travel for the atelier's signature restraint: results that look like you, only more so. No heavy lines. No dated trends. Just quiet, botanical beauty.

Botanical Pigment Library
We custom-blend mineral pigments inspired by garden hues — muted roses, soft umbers, cool sage — never flat tattoo blacks.
Medical-Grade Hygiene
Single-use cartridges, hospital-level sterilization, and licensed RN oversight at every appointment, always.
Slow Craft, Lasting Art
We schedule three clients a day, not fifteen. Healing, retention, and refinement are built into every timeline.
Permanent makeup is a portrait. My job is to listen to the skin before I ever touch it.

Inside the atelier.
Our sunlit studio lives inside a converted greenhouse in the historic Pearl District. Linen drapes soften every surface. Live herbs line the windowsill. The treatment room holds a single heated bed, calibrated lighting, and our full pigment library at arm's reach.
Every guest receives an unhurried consultation, a skin-tone mapping session, and a take-home botanical aftercare kit. The studio is intentionally small — and intentionally yours for the morning.
Curated by Maren, staffed by two senior artists, and visited by clients from across the country.
